A Bit About Me

I’ve always been an animal lover. While at school I worked part time at a riding school as well as in the emergency clinic at a local veterinary surgery. I saw some amazing things, alongside some awful ones, and it is where my interest in animal behaviour started. This lead me to study BSc (Hons) Applied Animal Behaviour and Training at Bishop Burton College. While there I was able to train a variety of animals, from rats and dogs to ring tailed lemurs, skunks and otters. I even trained my hamster, Pipkin, as part of my training practical in my final year. She was a little superstar, if anyone was wondering! I graduated with a first in 2018 and then worked for 3 years at a charity as a trainer using reward based methods.
